\nHeadache Network Canada is a non-profit, research-inclined organisation for migraine, one of the most common disabling physical condition known to man. The core advocacy of the organization is to study and understand this physical health condition while educating everyone about migraine.<\/p>\n

The organisation also moves toward providing support and advocacy to the researches made about this condition, patients who are currently suffering acute to severe migraine, and the translation of medical researches about it to become a powerful treatment to ease the head pain caused by migraine.<\/p>\n

\nOur Resourses
\nThere is no general treatment for migraine. Everyone experiences a unique case of migraine that does not have to follow the common medical practices to relieve oneself from the pain.<\/p>\n

However, there is hope for everyone who finds their current migraine treatment a failure.

\nMy migraine journey started when I was five years old. I couldn\u2019t stand the heat outside and I am utterly sensitive to loud sounds. I was 11 years old when I started having daily migraines. It got worse when I turn older and when I started going to college. I have known that I am experiencing variated hormone levels due to my Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. I was also found to have a cyst on my throat. I was also having trouble having a baby but I managed to have one when I turned 27. I got diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome but this has turned my migraine issues upside down and made my life better now.<\/em>

\nI have been suffering migraine and the experience is total hell. My visions usually go AWOL and I usually get triggered by bright lights, loud noises, and flashing lights. I know it is not simply a throbbing. Something behind my eyes hurt as well. I know caffeine can be bad but I usually take my tea almost every day. I really hope my story will help continue to spread awareness to those who have no knowledge of what it is to live with migraine or who do not understand what it brings to those who have one. I also share this to help those who need education and understanding about being a victim of migraine and become stronger after reading my story.<\/em>

\nI have been suffering migraine for 30 years now. The pain started to become evident when I turned 20. Since then, I usually get hospitalized for that unbearable pain in the head. I have gone through all the test in order to determine what really causes my headaches. However, I am determined to continue my life while living through this pain. It is just so sad that I have no more health insurance to cover me for all expenses with medicating my migraine. I am really hopeful that I would get the chance one day to cure my migraine and relieve me from it.<\/em>
